Please help if able. I've studied US medals since first grade and so I can identify nearly all US ribbons (except the most recent flurry of GWOT awards) readily. I know most of the obsolete ribbons or at least know where to look. But I've obtained one that has me totally stumped. It has a pin backing of the 1910's-1930's style and it is about a fifth longer than a modern ribbon would be (I pictured it with a 50's UNKOR for comparison of length). The stripes remind me of Russia, Belgium, Germany, and or other national flags. Maybe a bit of the Republic China stripey flag too. Then there is a tricolor which seems to say USA or perhaps UK or France.

It is not a state NG ribbon. I've checked.

    No known obsolete US ribbon.

Not a USPHS at least not anything current.

    I'M STUMPED.

    Anyone know please?

The one on the right is the bronze star.
The blue and white one could be the Corea campaing one and the green and white left from the bronze star are the Vietnam colors, but you might want to check for a confirmation as I have no copies to check for mself.

The one on the right isn't the bronze star I don't believe...I'm looking at one of my Bronze Stars and it goes very narrow white, very wide red, very narrow white, narrow blue, very narrow white, very wide red, very narrow white stripes. The ribbon in the picture is opposite

Whether the original poster reads it or not, we appreciate your effort to answer a question. That's kind of what some of us do around here. Thanks.

Sorry Spaniard, gotta' go with Hobbsh1. He's nailed it. Look at the one you posted and compare the red stripe on the right (too narrow), to the original post. Also those thin stripes on the left don't quite jive.

I Checked with the USMC can't fined it "provide Source," the ribbon I posted is "US Disaster Relief Command Pioneer Award Ribbon," or USDRC I even provided the Source.

The top ribbon is indeed for the US Disaster Relief Command's Pioneer Award.

The blue and white ribbon IS for the the Korean War Campaign Medal.
