How about we keep this Wonderful thread going..... "How F**ked are we now, on Guadalcanal?" or.... "How F**ked are you now? How F**ked are you know? How F**ked are you nooooooooooooooooow? Your surely F**ked now"
We don't do The Pacific or Band of Brothers or Saving Private Ryan or Pearl Harbor .....Pretty much nothing made prior to 1990
Ok, since Carl got out of the can and now is awol, nobody can guess the movie his quote is taken from. Let's save it for later if and when he comes back and move on. I'll offer up an easy one to get things rolling again. "Yer lucky, chow time"
Let's let one of the new guys get it, I bet even Lou can't figure it out. I guess Carl has left the building?
He never stopped by after getting released from the "House of D". It looks like he did the "genuine duffel bag drag" towards the front gate and took a left. Good idea, let someone else in on the action.
I don't know whether to be insulted or flattered. In any case, I have no idea. Movie quotes, other than "We don't need no stinking badges" are not my strong point. I hope someone can fulfill your request.
Ok, since Lou punted on first down, here's another easy one to get things back in motion. "Ok, we'll start the war right here".
No, but you are close. It was set in WW2, and it was filmed in b&w. Other than that strike one. Here's a hint, it was in another theater of operations than "Back to Bataan".
It's "Take the High Ground" I believe, but that's a Korean War flick. Is that the one with Richard Widmark and Karl Malden as rival drill sergeants? Great flick though. I might have to pull it up on Netflix now.
negative....neither of those guys are in it. Richard Jaeckle does die in it though and there are a couple of genuine WW2 veterans in it.
