    My classic ones are...

    The Haunting
Great film which used atmosphere to scare you with no gore.

    The Third Man
Made good use of post war back drop.

The Spy Who Came In From The Cold
In my view, Richard Burton's best film he ever made.

    The Longest Day
Well we all know that one is a classic.

The Longest Day and Schindler's List are my favorites, although I've seen a great deal many others that I can't think of right now.

There are lots. I'm on a Bogart kick.

WW2 or not, Casablanca is my all time favorite. African Queen, and Action in the North Atlantic are also on the list.

Also can't ignore Best Years of Our Lives.
There are many others, including The Longest Day, but my brain is taking a vacation.

I love that movie!!! I wish the Powers-that-be who are in charge of getting these films released in regions 1 and or --would get this masterpiece released on DvD here-soI can enjoy Chas Laughton and Robert Young. It's my favorite Laughton title-just after Mutiny on the Bounty w/ Clark Gable & Franchot Tone.

Another one I really liked was Zanuck's "The Grapes of Wrath." He was a pretty good producer, although he was kind of a Napoleon to his crew.

I'll make sure it is published as soon as I get an autographed copy of your book exposing the political correctness croud that is ruining the UK as well as the USA. I want ten signed copies so that my Bro-in-Law, Sister my two older Bros and my three Nephews & their Spouses-would get a kick out of reading it
