So, I have had the task of cleaning out my grandfather's desk (amongst other things in their house). One of the more interesting items I have come across was this pin:

It looks like a pin showed on this website: Medals & Badges

My basic question, and I assume is a popular question, is how to sell "Nazi" items, since sites like ebay (where I am a powerseller) do not allow that type of selling.

    Hello, and welcome to WW2F

If you use google, you will come across many dealers and websites that may buy your item / or allow you to sell it on their site, normally we don't allow this here.

Some members here may be able to help you identify your pin and/or iterested in purchasing it, in which case they will probually PM you.

In general: "Please keep in mind that this forum is not a valuation service, for those of us that collect militaria, we would prefere your contributions to the forum instead". .......don't get scared away though, introduce yourself over in the 'New Members' area.

I see. Well, if my thread was out-of-place, my apologies. I had browsed some other threads/forum, and I saw references to yahoo auctions and sell.com. I was unaware of websites that would buy an item. Thank you for the information.

I do not think that this is an original piece...better pics of the reverse would be best.

Well....consider me STUPID then. Perhaps you should choose your words a little more wisely.

Yes, the reverse set up is all wrong. He probably picked this up at a gun show at some point.

    Perhaps you should rephrase that?

Ah. He did not go to gun shows, but I do not doubt you. How would I get rid of it in that case that it is a replica? I have no interest in keeping the pin.

Thanks, again, for all of the useful information.

Please do not take this the wrong way....but you would be doing the collecting community a service by simply throwing this one away.
