Well, if I ever get out that way, I would really like to see the Imperial War Museum. It probably would take several weeks to see it all in it's entirety, like the Smithsonian.

What I should have said is that we could have a mini-convention of Rogues from the New World, and anyone else who could make it would be more than welcome....We could chip in and buy a brick in the WW2F's name....And one for our Euro brothers accross the way who couldn't make it....They could convene at the Imperial War Museum at the same time, and we could get a sattelite hook-up and finally see what we all look like....Then the Yanks and the Canandians could then dash off to Bourbon Street to guzzle cold beer, and stagger from bar to bar, p1ssing and puking beer and oysters along the way, while the those in England could do the same from their favorite pubs....Then, maybe later, we could all join in a rousing round of that K-song....Nah, I don't think anyone knows the words. Ok, scratch the singing part, we'll just stick to drinking and staggering until the sun comes up or we get arrested by NOPD, whichever comes first....

I actually got to see the IWM while in London but unfortunately I only had about 3 hours to spare. I was glad to have 3 hours but that was just about enough to walk around quickly with not much time to really look at everything.

I do plan to go back one day!

Yes, I have toured the USS Kidd several times. It is well maintained, and many USN reunions are held there, and at the nearby floating casino as well!
