Was there a major clean up in concentration camp commanders and top ranking officers in 1942 due to corruption, drunkenness and "stealing from Reich"?

Found this from the net: "Hoppe, Hassebroeck and Richard Baer were considered "clean' officers with frontline cred (EKII and I) and pre-war experience in the SS-Totenkopfverbande that would help restore credibility to the KL system after the scandals of 1942 in which guys like Rodl, Kunstler, Koch et, al. were brought up on various charges of corruption, unauthorized murder and drunkenness."

And checking on them what I could find mostly in wikipedia, it seems there was some kinda Putsch of commanders...

    Thanx for more info!
