    Nazi propaganda for a class?

    Anyway:

"Deutsche, beschützt Europa vor den bolschewistischen Horden! Kommt zur Waffen-SS!"

    Cheers,

Can you refer to a German collective as Deutche?

Shouldn't it be (in this context) be something like "Duetche Menshen"? Or German People? Of course this is coming from a guy who knows almost nothing about the German language :D

sounds good to me, Andy [IMG]

    I'd say:
Deutsche Volksgenossen! Schützt Europa vor den bolschewistischen Banden, kommt zur Waffen-SS!

    or:
Deutsche Volksgenossen! Schützt Europa vor dem Bolschewismus, kommt zur Waffen-SS!

but i'ts only a question of personal feeling

Yup, the "Volksgenossen"-nazi jargon makes it sound even better!

    Cheers,

If you look at nazi Propaganda posters, they usually do not address the German people explicitly(because it's obvious, who else is the one to be adresses, duh?). And they also preferred singular over plural.

I think best would be a nice soldier image with SS emblem:

"Beschütze Europa vor den bolschewistischen Horden. Komm zu uns!" (Join us)

Got a reproduction of the SS "Konigen Alle Waffen" poster I got with a series of facsimile WW2 papers that I subscribed to when I was a kid.
Think it was the only German one.
