Need help with this German Dagger

    German officer parade dagger. It's looks legit but needs a porteépée . I'd need a closer look to confirm this because many fakes were made , but the fact that yours has a filigranne is a good point. If the orange part is bakelite i twould be another one. Your dagger is the most common parade dagger and is worth about 350-450$ -( 2015)

    Thanks yes its defintely not a fake... My father in laws father sent this back with the coat during or after ww2. This was taken off a german officer but thats about as much detail I have... The coat is in another thread . I've been reading some and this is a 2nd model luftwaffe.. I'm defintely finding more information on the dagger than I can on the coat... Thanks for the reply
