Need information about this German coat

    If anyone can give me some insight on this german coat. I wanted to know what the 15 on shoulder meant and any other detail about this item.. Thank you

    Why is a Kriegsmarine Coast Artillery sleeve badge on a German artillery NCO's parade uniform?

    All I know this was sent back during/after ww2 from my father in laws dad along with a cermional dagger. sleeve badge could have been added to uniform i have no ideal..

    Sorry, about that it was my mistake, it looks like a Kriegsmarine CA sleeve badge...

    It is actually a Heer Artillery Proficiency sleeve badge.

    So this is actually a parade uniform? That probably explains the cermonial parade dagger that was with this i'm guessing... Thank you

    Awesome and I'm guessing from researche the red badges are artillery red blitz badge.. Is that standard with this uniform? Can't find meanings behind those

    The red around the neck area and bottom of sleeves

    Sword/dagger portepees attached to the epaulettes a little strange?..

    I have a dagger also (pics) other thread... Does the portpees go with the dagger and shouldn't be on the coat?

    Those are not blitz badges...

    Those are the usual parade uniform NCO collar tabs, and cuff facings(although the cuff facings look a little odd). The cuffs were known as Swedish Cuffs.

    Thank you very much Takao... I"m going to print out some information from here and research so her family can understand more than just a uniform and dagger... He really never talked about much details of events that happen. So all they are left with are his medals (which we have documents on those) but this dagger and uniform I'm going to research. thank you
