lol, thanks Das, but that is the one map i already have. What i really need is the OoB of the entire ostfront at the onset of Typhoon.

Actually i have a book called "Atlas of Eastern Front Battles" that has detailed maps in it. Ill take a look through it and chack out the web some more. Im sure there is stuff somewhere!

Maybe a little spot of any kind in his cap? It is too small to be some kind of badge... Or maybe a spot in the photograph... I am not sure...

 

It has to be something like a pin. I could swear ive seen similar things on caps...i think...
