Hi Just joined this site today trying to help my daughter find information about her grandfather and great grandfather who both served in the second world war at the same time but in different places. In my grandfathers posessions i have found a medal which says 'xxx corps' Mont Pincon for crossing the seine. After his army number are the initals gnr which i assume he was a gunner. I am looking for information about what happened at Mont Pincon and anything about the xxx corps. Go easy on me this is my first time researching this , not yet started on my own dad who fought in Burma ! jo
