Lancaster kits are all getting a bit long-in-the-tooth, for example the good ol' Revell 1/72.

Best currently out there is the Airfix 2nd casting, available as BI, Dambuster or Grand Slam.

Probably best of them all, but currently out of production ( so it's e-bay only, I'm afraid  ) is the huge Tamiya 1/48 B1 or BIII Dambuster. Still a great model.

Ironically, as these kit castings are all so old, possibly the best Lancaster model currently on the market is the award-winning Corgi die-cast 1/72 ; but I'm not sure which is heavier, the model or the price !

Erich tamiya do have one in 1/48 believe it or not. It isn't bad. It is probably the best kit out there at the mo.
