Hi all, my name is Chuck and I found these great forums while researching the 152nd Field Artillery, which used to be a regiment in the Maine National Guard that mobilized in 1941 with the 43rd Division. In '42 when the Division went "triangular," the regiment was dissolved and one battalion became the 203rd FA and went to the ETO, and the other became the 152nd and stayed with the 43rd and went to the Pacific.

I'm in the early stages of learning all I can about these two units, as well as the environment they fought in. I've already picked up a couple of interesting facts here, and I'm sure these forums will be a big help.

Some of us veterans of the 152nd (the last remaining unit deactivated in 2007) formed an association to sustain the regiment's history, and I'm the defacto historian. Here's our web page: 152nd Field Artillery Association.

Welcome aboard, Chuck. It's always a pleasure to welcome another knowledgeable person to the forum. We're a pretty friendly lot, and there is a lot of good information about. Ask questions, read, and post away.

That's a good looking website. Keep us updated when you get new items up.
