    Greetings all
I go by the name Diamar which is a mixture of both my name and my wife's name.
I was born just before WW2 broke out in Holland. I do have some first hand memories of the war in Holland but most of what I know comes from books.
I do remember when the Canadian troops arrived in the village we lived in at the time.
That was reason for cellebration. I can't thank the Canadian forces enough for what they did for the Dutch people myself included. I now live in British Columbia Canada, a wonderful country. Thank you Canadians.
    Martin O.

    Diamar,

Welcome to the forum. We have a good number of Canadian members who would be interested in what you remember about the Canadian troops you saw.
