Hello to everyone, My name is Brad and I hope I can begin to learn how to gather information on my dad's service in WWII I live in Oxford, NC and have lived in North Carolina most of my life. We (myself, my wife and two sons) have decided to visit Belgium in July 2014 to try and follow the route my dad's battalion took in Belgium. He was in the 9th Armored Division, CCB, 16th Armored Field Artillery Battalion, Battery A. I know they supported the defense of St. Vith during the Battle of the Bulge. Later CCB of the 9th Armored captured the Bridge at Remagen. I look forward to trading information with everyone. Brad
Welcome to the Forum, Brad. There are a couple of Forum sections where you might post your inquiries: Military Service Records & Genealogical Research OR Information Requests Of course, you may also want to make use of the Search function to see if there might already be a discussion thread on your topic. If you need any help with that or anything else, just ask. We're mostly harmless here.
