Hello everyone, My user names is Waterloo50 and I live in the South West of England. I chose my user name because I had a relative that fought with the 52nd Foot at Waterloo, he survived the battle and managed to live to a ripe old age, I'm proud of his achievements, hence my user name. I really enjoy reading about anything military, from Waterloo to Vietnam. I am particularly interested in subjects like the 'Battle of Britain', the U-Boat war and anything to do with the British forces during WW2.. I really enjoy chatting to people with a similar interest and I can't wait to get chatting with you all. Hello Tirdad, I have read a few short articles and watched a few documentaries on the Iran/Iraq war but my knowledge on the subject is limited, I'm always open to learning new things so if you want to discuss it I would happily be interested, perhaps you could educate me, what I do know of that particular war is that it seemed to last forever, I'm going to be honest though, I don't really know too much about the politics behind it but if you have the time to explain it, then I have the time to listen.
