    Hi There

    I wanted to pop in and introduce myself. I am Michelle with Forum Member Name MichelleG1977

    I am 41 years old and have been interested in WW2 as long as I can remember -maybe since age 5 ?

    I am currently based in Cape Town and am particularly interested in nursing ( South African Military Nurses); Qasassin Transit Camp in Egypt and learning more about women involved in the war effort at the front line.

    My grandmother was a nurse in Egypt and Italy and my grandfather served as part of the Allied effort in Libya, Egypt and Italy. They met at the end of the war, he was South African and she was a Scot who had relocated to South Africa before the war broke out.

    In terms of hobbies I love reading, cooking, wine and learning about wine, writing, travelling.
