I found this forum as I was looking to find some definitions of a tele-type that my Father had. Dad served in the US Navy for 23 years, starting out on an LST in WWII, then to the diesel Subs, then on to the Nuclear Subs. Retired off the Scorpion about 1 1/2 years before she went down.
Thanks for letting me come aboard

Welcome aboard Jim. Would you know the number of the LST your dad served on?
