New WWII computer game out soon

Desert Rats vs. Afrika Korps

Looks interesting. It's an RTS but you choose your force before you start a mission so there's no building of your forces during the battle like, say, C&C. The singleplayer also sounds like it follows two fictional soldiers stories throughout the North African campaign.

There's a demo available, link from the URL below. I'm going to give it a go when I get out of work and I'll give you some impressions but there are plenty of previews on the web!

Yup, it's worth a look! Enjoyed the single player demo although it's only one scenario and there is a multiplayer demo to try out as well.

A little bit cheesy in that you seem to follow one officers campaign and he is referred to as a 'hero' but I guess it lends some involvement to the proceedings and gets you more emotional tied to the game.

Good stuff, may have to get it when it comes out next week.
