    It's a video with Prof Don Goldstein. He is trying to recreate whay happened to AZ on 12-7-1941. It looks
    pretty good so far I have not watched all 3 parts yet. The goal is to figure out more about what happened
    to AZ on that day. Below is the link:

    I quit when they said Goldstein was a co-author of At Dawn We Slept.

    One of the witnesses ashore said the massive explosion aboard the USS Arizona sounded more like a "WHOOM" than a "BANG." The resultant concussion wave caused car engines to stall over a mile away from the harbor.

    Donald Goldstein's mentor, Gordon Prange was the father of Pearl Harbor histories, and still is admired for
    At Dawn We Slept. No other book has come close to replacing that history, even if he was misled by Fuchida
    about how effective the actual attack had been. But, it WAS effective in that it did achieve its goals, irregardless
    of whether those goals made a lot of sense. Considering the broad sweep of the book, very little of it has
    received valid criticism.
