Yes Detroit got screwed on at least 2 calls. NY and Green Bay is good so far. Spoke too soon, GB is now ripping up NY, but they are losing a lot of players.
The first Seattle TD where the receiver made a spectacular one hand catch....but was using the other was grabbing the face mask of the defender. Then where the Seattle QB blocks behind the back 2 yards in front of the ball carrier. No calls on either. Two other calls were borderline, the 'uncatchable' ball and the roughing the passer. All in favor of Seattle.
Yep. Blatant face mask...i blame homer officials, and obama. ..Enjoyed the enthusiastic crowd and awesome stadium.
Well, the 2016 season is over for this Cowboy fan The only competitive game in this years playoff's (so far). If Dallas played the first half the way they played the second they might have won this game with some comfort, but dropped passes and brain fart penalties killed promising drives early. I can't fault Dak or Zeke, though he was underused in my opinion. The real problem was coaching I think. as a team they weren't ready in the first half. More to the point I had some real issues with play calling. On three occasions they had third and 3 or less and went for long passes instead of using the best run block o-line and best running back to get the first down. Indeed over all they should have run the ball more in other situations as they were averaging 5 yards per rush. Looking forward there is still plenty of reasons to be pleased with the season as a whole. Dallas has a playoff offence, led by All-Pro caliber players like Dak, Zeke, Dez and Witten. A first class O-line and a bend, but not break defense. They need a consistent sack/pressure threat, and a little more from their special teams to become the Patriots of the NFC. Oh well, next year.
I'll buy you a beer to drown your sorrows down in Arlington for the Cowboys/Hawks NFC championship. (Maybe next year....)
What a game that was... I like Packers all the way. As a Ravens fan I can't even begin to stomach the Pats vs Steelers game...
ESPN and local news reports have resale ticket prices for the SB dropping 20%. One of, if not the, biggest price drops ever. Bigger than when Houston itself was eliminated. Texans are #1 in Houston, but the Cowboys rule Texas still.
Aargh...looks like i am not omnipotent. ..maybe next year. Go Packers. merryl streep should look at the ratings. Not art : probably garnered ...what- 45 million viewers. Golden globes : art ..what maybe 5 million...easy to see why left lost...so out of touch with normals.
