    guys :

I need your map talents again. Would like some of you to investigate for me and possibly show through internet maps the following areas of Flügplatz(air fields) of I./NJG 100 during 1945.
having problems find a couple on my maps....

Prowehren in December 44 to middle of January 45.

Vietzkersstrand in February to mid-March 45.

and Griefswald from end of March to April of 45.

    thanks gents ! ;) :D

doing some special studies on the unit for a couple of seekers.

Thanks again my friend. The other two maybe in West or East Prussia or now in the present day Poland. I./NJG 100 served in tackling both RAF bombers and the Soviet harrassment and recon bombers in 1945 so they were very much over extended and weary but did have successes

    Vietzkerstrand:

It is in nowadays Poland, I believe. More details, also on location @ http://www.schlawe.de/gemeinden/vietzkerstrand/

I believe this is also about this Fliegerhorst: http://www.stolp.de/Stolp-Stadt/Flugplaetze/stolper-heimatblatt1954.htm

    Also of interest: http://www.stolp.de/Stolp-Stadt/Flugplaetze/luftfahrtgeschichte-stolp.htm

    prowehren:

Lies near konigsberg, the former capital of Prussia. Couldn't find a site which clearly states the exact location.

Prowehren maybe familiar to my Ostpreussen friend's Helmuth and Ruth as she was born very close to Königsberg

will advise with more info I hope.
