If you like Mercenary movies--well your in luck. SOmetime in November, a great Merc movie will be released on DVD. This movie has Richard Burton, Richard Harris, Roger Moore and Hardy Kruger in it as the Merc units officers.

The movie I speak of is called: "The Wild Geese."

Also as a side note on DVD war movies. Apparently some distributors will no longer carry: "The Enemy Below." Why? I don't know? It seems to always be SOLD OUT, no matter what site you go to to order it. So apparently it is doing well but--someone just does not want to carry it????

This movie is a classic and has Robert Mitchum as the Captain of a Destroyer. They encounter a German Uboat Kaptained by Kurt Jurgens. ANyway, I did find a place that supposedly secured a copy for me and if you want one--i'd suggest ordering one now from Blockbuster Video.

Me either and WED is on my October list of movies to get. [IMG] Another two I will be getting in October depending on price are: The Adventures OF Robin Hood (Errol Flynn) and Treasure of the Sierra Madre (Humphrey Bogart) two more great classics.

I can hardly await to see them release into DVD these as well: Dawn Patrol,(1930s version) Fort Apache, Gunga Din,(The original) Beau Geste, (The original) Decision Before Dawn, A Time To Love And A Time To Die, Battleground, Battle of the Bulge, Desperate Journey, They Died With Their Boots On, Charge of the Light Brigade, (The Original) Hell And High Water, and The Frogmen.

Then I can quit collecting movies for awhile.
