Hello, this is a whopper of a post so please bear with me. I've always been interested in reenacting but havn't gotten into it. Sometime in the future i would like to get into it but for now i have some questions on the uniform of an Oberleutnant in the Fallschirmjager.

Here's the info i have so far

    Head:
    Schirmmutze

    Upper torso:
    Luftwaffe Fliegerbluse
    Jump Smock

    Lower body:
Black officers belt with Fallschirmjager belt buckle (?)
Same pants as Enlisted men in Fallschirmjager?
    Fallschirmjager boots

Okay, here are my questions. I will start from head to toe of the uniform.

    Head:
    ___________
Schirmmutze: Would an Oberleutnant wear one like this: http://www.atthefront.com/visor_LW_Off_main.jpg

Helmet: Would an Oberleutnant wear a helmet when jumping into combat?

Side cap: Would they also wear a side cap like this one: http://www.ima-usa.com/images/thumbs/GG1028.jpg (execpt with silver piping)
    _____________

    Upper body:
    ___________

Shirt: A white or regular issue shirt was worn correct?
Fliegerbluse: This is somthing I'm having trouble with. The Fligerbluse (the later issue with two pockets) was issued before the Tuchrock correct? My question is, would an Oberleutnant wear a normal Fliegerbluse (with proper insignia of course) or would he wear a tuchrock (like in this picture: http://www.lostbattalions.com/pix/LWTuch01.jpg)
I also have some questions about the insignia which will be further down.

Jump smock: is there a perticular splinter pattern they would wear (i would think not but i just want to be sure). Also, the insignia was two eagles over one bar correct? If so could i have the dimensions of the eagles and bar if anyone knows them? Thanks.
    ____________

    Lower body:
    _____________

Belt: Would a black belt with the Luftwaffe beltbuckle be acceptable?

Pants: would the regular Fallschirmjager issue jump pants be suitable to wear with the "outfit"? (keeping in mind all this would be for field action and not the show uniform)

Boots: same as the above, were the typical issue jump boots worn?
    _______________

Now that i've asked all that, I'd like to ask some questions about insignia

    INSIGNIA:
    __________
    Collar Tabs and piping:
    _________

The insignia for an oberleutnant is an oakleaf wreath with two eagles correct? If so my question is, are the two eagles the standard eagles worn by a private etc of are they smaller? Also, does anyone know where i can get them and the oakleaf spray. I can't seem to find it anywhere.

As for the piping, what material do i use to go around the collar, and where do i (if at all) put it on the Fliegerbluse. Or was it a Tuchrock exclusive?

    Shoulder Boards:

In the above image is a Oberleutnant shoulder board without the gold pip. Is this just attached to the Fliegerbluse? Once again this assumes that the Fliegerbluse is acceptable to wear for an Oberleutnant. Which i'm almost posative is as evidenced by this picture: http://www.eagle19.freeserve.co.uk/foltin.htm

In the picture is Major Ferdinand Foltin, and he is wearing what apears to be a Fliegerbluse. To which i must conclude, if he is a major, which is higher than a oberleutnant, and wearing the Fliegerbluse Then it must be acceptable. But i'd like to know for sure, that's where you guys come in [IMG]

I think that's pretty much it, if you see anything incorect in my information, or somthing i'm missing in the uniform provided please point it out. Also I would really really appreciate if somone could direct me to a site where i could purchase the proper collar tabs for an Oberleutnant. This of course along with answering what i have asked ;) .

Any help in these areas are much appreciated.

    Regards, Matthew
