I think two is fine...probably more people die falling off ladders...You have to find a way of living with them, and I think we have. Our Aboriginal brothers and sisters have lived with these snakes and way more for sixty thousand years...
That's a spurious argument for all accidents/incidents...we all have to go with something...worse ways to go. Everyone seems to accept the risks of driving, where you can not only die, but get a serious life long injury and be in pain for the rest of your days (I work with a bloke who has life long pain from a car crash). It doesn't stop people from driving though does it? You don't get rid of cars because of the risks...instead you drive as individuals as carefully and safely as you can thus reducing your chances of being in a crash. So too with snakes you wear good shoes and long pants if going into snake environments, you check your swag before going to sleep and you learn how to treat a snake bite - With a good compression bandage (sucking the venom does nothing but put venom into another person). Humans are too big to eat for snakes, so we aren't on their menus...being cold blooded they seek warmth (don't we all) and this can bring snakes into the home, about this time of year they are also mating like crazy, so they can travel looking for that special babe to mate with...the point is, they harbour no ill will to humans and it's usually us who either deliberately or accidentally mess with them and they try to protect themselves. Snakes and pets are different (as they are in most continents) some are small enough to eat so may be in the menu. You have to be safe for them too. Pythons, the non venomous snakes are the big killer of pets here... Australia is not the only country where pets must beware... The leopard deserves to live, especially as it is us who move into IT'S territory. Same with snakes. If we didn't have snakes we would have a serious rodent problem...
Spare a thought for this Iguana...he has some armour and plenty of skill... The trick to a safe encounter is don't panic...
Was watching some Carpenters last night...Karen Carpenter is thought to be at the top in terms of her singing ability. She sang as a Contralto (Miley Cyrus is a contralto) but had an even lower register that few women had let alone mastered - First time listeners regularly claim to be hearing an "Angel" such was the smoothness and effortless control. Most know she started her professional music career as a drummer and then started to sing whilst on the drums...what most don't know is the actual skill level she achieved with the drums (bloody over achievers) I hope this will give an indication that she was not only a master singer but also had some mastery over the difficult drumming.
For those in need of a Carpenters refresher into this women's angelic voice, this is a favourite "We've only just begun" NOTE: Check out the two tambourine players - professional to the last.
Thank you. I think one of the best female voices of all time. She was apparently getting better, from what I recall. Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel in overcoming her situation. But it had weakened her heart, and the world lost her, much too soon.
U.S. Navy ⚓️ 1965-1969 CS3 Proud of your country? Never say goodbye..... I do not quite get it now? Sorry.....
Karen had anorexia nervosa, perhaps you knew of her plight? It was too much for her heart to bear. Our friend here was just giving the situation a different twist.
