Ok, after years of some people hoping, praying and sometimes begging-to see more of my photo collection, soon here, in another thread started by a Gentleman who lives several miles or several thousand miles from me and is a generous soul-will be posting some nice images I have collected over the years. He's needing some time to find time to post them so--just to "whet" your appetites and curiosities, I thought i'd give ya a heads-up about a nice treat to soon grace the electronic doo-dads that make up this site. These pics for the most part-have never been published-an some have. I will leave it up to you to figure out which have or have not been?

Keep yer eyes and ears tuned into THIS forum and soon you will begin to see some of the things I have been bragging about all these years. Sorry-no Militaria from my collection-just original images ;-D If you liked and enjoyed those images that Skipper kindly posted for me--you will like these too.

Hi Scott, I would bet my last Dollar on it that you will like these.

Some hints of what's to be seen include:

A PK photo showing some Panzergrenadiers getting onto a STUG III which is about to go into action somewhere in the Summer of 43 and on the Eastern Front. This was the first press photo I ever got my hands on and it's been one of my all-time most favorite pics.

Another neat one shows a lone Messerschmidt sitting on a thawing out airfield somewhere on the Eastern Front. Great shot BTW.

Another shot shows Oberst Werner Molders congratulating OFW Edmund Wagner as he was not yet awarded his Knights Cross but had just been put in fot it by his CO. Sadly, he was killed on: Nov 13, 1941 near Pafmutoka, USSR.

SOmething that this pictures always struck me as funny is that OFW Wagner does not look at all like a German to me and looks more British and to me-he would look more "proper" and at place-wearing an RAF Pilots uniform ;-))

Another photo shows a formation of Stukas over Crete.

Another favorite pic is one showing the inside of a command Bunker-somewhere on the Eastern Front. Great shot of equipment-radio and such.

And there are at least 40 or so more PK pics of this type including two great KM Uboat pics showing Johann Mohr and his Exec on the conning tower of his Uboat just after a patrol flying his kill pennants. Another pic of this type shows Wolfgang Luth in a similar setting.

Ill leave the rest up to imagination ;-))

I hope my friend does not break his keyboard posting these as there are around 100 photos on two CDs. Some of course-arent military pics buy military realted as these are Studio Release pics of War Movies and Westerns such as: Aduie Murphy in To Hell and Back, Errol Flynn in Objective Burma, Gary Cooper in Springfield Rifle, John Wayne in The Flying Tigers, as well as in Fort Apache. Vic Morrow as Sgt. Saunders in Combat, and some other stuff. I don't know if he will want to post these TV and movie related pics or not but I guess time will tell ;-))

    Take care--Carl.

Well, Carl, now that you have us all panting in anticipation...When can we expect the big unveiling? The pics sound terrific. I'm especially looking forward to the U-Boat pictures.

Hi Lou and all, no cookies unless you want the diet kind-which really don't taste that all bad ;-))

The pics are going to be posted for me by - well, I can't yet say his name but he comes here on a regular basis and helps correct those (me) who are wrong about certain Knights Cross fighter pilot had I once had heard had passed away-thankfully that was not the case.

Anyway, i'll put his fingers in vice-grips soon. Just kidding. Im hoping he does have time for a visit here this week though-that way you guys don't get your shirts all soaked from drooling ;-)) My fingers are itching to type out the info from the news tickers on their backsides ;-)) None of these pics have been shown here-or on any other site for that matter--yet. This site will be the first they will be posted on-then possibly over @ the www.wartradersguild.com site ;-))

Hi Skipper, I have to make more copies of the CDs and at the same time-I will get those other pics scanned to CD but that will take about 2 weeks. The copies are no problem and I can get those made hopefully by Thursday this week next time I go shopping. Ill keep you informed on those. Those CDs I need to get made-with unscanned pics-will probably have around 250 pics between the two-many you kindly already posted for me but-these will be clear images.

The Gent who im hoping can start posting some of the other pics for me-I saw here earlier today so hopefully it will not be much longer? Ill shoot him off a PM when I get back and see what he has to say.

Take care SKipper--C. PS and many thanks in advance. Im going to have to give you something for this which will be WWII vintage-but I have to find that item first. You will like this item for sure ;-)) Also, I can't find where I stashed that large framed photo of a German Offizier I am going to send to you-and will get it out to you as soon as I find where the heck I stashed it at.

Hi guys, sorry about the delays in getting these images posted here. I have not seen the Gent who was going to post them here for me-online lately-so I don't know if he is having computer problems or not? but I will try to find out.
