Is this old German tunic original?
It is what my father was collecting.

I am a Japanese user and I am not good at English.

The ribbon bars, on the chest, are American. No way they would be on a German uniform.

The oak leaves and swords to the iron cross looks to new.

From the looks of it, I would say it is a reproduction. But, I am not an expert in German uniforms.

Ribbon bars; bottom far right, Combat Action Ribbon, first authorized 17Feb69, retroactively to WWII, Korea, early Vietnam, Navy/Marine Corps. The second looks like a Republic of Vietnam Campaign medal, but missing the silver 1960 device. Bottom left looks like a WWII Victory medal, bit faded. Top right, looks like a badly faded Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation. Center top is a National Defense Medal, and top left is an upside down Navy Presidential Unit Citation.
