    Original photo from my collection. I’m not super sure what group/unit/branch they may have been. You can spot an edelweiss on the cap of one of them. If anyone can determine that I would be grateful. Otherwise just an interesting photo.

    Interesting. Looks like a biathlon competition. Many SA caps and also what looks like wehrmact caps. A friendly competition between the two?
