    Hi All,
I am trying to find out where this picture was taken. In my Grandfather's photo book, some pictures are labeled, some are not. In this picture I have figured out where the FW 190 Pic was taken at Langensalza Airfield near Muhlhausen, Germany.. But... Looking at the pic of him standing next to the P 51, Does anybody recognize the tail art on the planes, look to the right you can see the tail.. I realize there anren't any visible numbers so would be really hard.. Don't know if it was in England?

He was part of Troop D, 85th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squad Mech, 5th Armored Division. I know the 5th AD was in Chisledon, Wiltshire England, then Southhampton, Hampshire England, was there any B 17 or P 51 bases there.. Because these pictures look kind of leisure like before they landed at Utah, looks like they were killing time you know...

    THanks for your time.
