Evening Gents, I am currently building a 1/32nd scale, Supermarine Spitfire, Mk. I. This particular Supermarine Spitfire, Mk. I was flown by P/O George Pinkerton, assigned to No. 602 Squadron at Drem, Scotland, ca. 1940. The aircraft call letters are "LO", this aircraft is assigned the letters "LO-S." He's known for being the first pilot to down a German aircraft off the Firth of Forth, just before the Battle of Britain began, it was a Junkers Ju-88. I was wondering if anyone knew the Supermarine serial number assigned for this aircraft? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Regards, MARNE PS ~ Here's a couple of pictures of the "Spit" in question! http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p254/aco_30thir_3rdid/DSCN1594.jpg http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p254/aco_30thir_3rdid/DSCN1592.jpg http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p254/aco_30thir_3rdid/DSCN1586.jpg http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p254/aco_30thir_3rdid/DSCN1597.jpg
