I bought this game shortly after it came out - at the time apparently it was selling like hot cakes. However, apart from a friend, I don't know anyone else who plays it. Anybody out there also have a liking for this game? While the renditions are not as sharp as they would be for PS2, I still think the computer modelling of the tanks to be very good, it's possible to differentiate between different marks of tank and you get an impression of what it must have been like in a combat situation. I don't envy anybody who had to go up against Tigers in a M4 Sherman or Cromwell, that's for definite. Anyone else have a liking for PF?
Yes, we've got "Panzerfront" at home. I think it is nice if not excellent. I enjoy it because it is realistic some times —and many other it isn't... However, I'm not that good at it. I'm only good when I'm on a King Tiger, so I don't get destroyed too easily... But my boyfriend is really good at it!
I own it for Playstation. Good game to a certain extent. I don't like the fact that there are no campaigns that you can go with and fight your way through the war while upgrading or things of that sort. Later
I recently sold the game and upgraded to an XBOX. However, it was an excellent game, and i was most impressed by the depth of study put into the game by it's designers. I truly felt very enthused to be in Wittmann's or Barkmann's tanks in Normandy... Also, the great American surge into Germany was well-rendered, as was especially, Russian campaigns. Very well done game...
