I'd like to inform the good WWII Forums membership, that the mighty Peppy is back! It's good to see all the old hands are still kicking around. Yes indeed, one of the original members and all around graphics specialist has returned. This past March I moved to Chicago and just a few days ago Otto and I met and discussed the WWII Nework & WWII Forums. I proposed a few initiatives to our esteemed Leader & Web Commander, and he approved all of them. I will be releasing details of my new projects over the next few days and I'll also be helping Otto relauch the WWII Network and restore it to it's glory days of old. Also, I'll be changing my handle shortly to something that fits better. Going by "Peppy" just doesn't do it for me anymore. Peppy = back with a vengeance!
It's good to be back TA152, and great to "see" you gain. And yes, I'm quite the "herbalist" and I always will be. Incidentally, I invited Otto to a party where he could get his smoke on, but he's more of the athletic type, one of those healthy people. He's cool with the bud, but he's not a user. Too bad for him, the midwest is very kind. Peppy = a bud man
Yay for Peppy! Us Original members should get a special title or something...perhaps "Old Geisers" or something.... i hope i didnt spell that wrong...
I met Peppy on the forum yesterday and our first contact was excellent. It was his idea to add this nightfighter as a signature for me.
Peppy is great! I met him a few days ago when he moved to chicago. Otto, Peppy, and I went to dinner and saw the new Bond flick. He is a very funny guy.....loves the bud.
Hello Peppy, I enjoy the herb also. Very difficult for me though since I am somewhat of a recognized figure in a very conservative community. Later
Thanks for all the kind words of welcome from all of you, I'm happy you guys remember me at all. When I first came back here and started reading posts, I couldn't belive me eyes! PzJgr, TA152, Kai-Petri, Martin Bull, Stefan, and even Mussolini all still alive and well. So many quality mutli-year members with thousands of quality posts amongst you, it almost brought a tear, lol! I guess we are really the old guard aren't we Mussolini? Thanks to you as well Fortune, you welcomed me back despite not even knowing me. That's camaraderie amongst the OKF for sure! Cheers! The signature image was my pleasure Skipper67, I'm just glad to help make your stay more comfortable. I truly with I could spend a day or so seeing you and your crew work on that ju88! I'm green with envy my friend! And hello again Trouble! I must admit that when you sent me those images for your avatar I thought it was unlikely that you could resemble her, but with all due respect (and fear) to Otto you are truly stunning! It was a pleasure to sit down and have a meal with you two, he is a lucky guy indeed to be with such a lady. I'm looking forward to seeing you again after your trip. I hear you jpatterson the herb is not a bad thing in moderation, it is certainly better than alcohol. My problem is I don't use moderation as much as I'd like! And just so you know, I'm a teacher too! Peppy = has his heart warmed for the holidays!
Now what could keep us away, really? If the bogey man does not get me I´ll be here for the next 40 years....wonder if I could reach 200,000 postings mark? BTW, thanx for the great Mannerheim pic, Peppy!
