    Thanks Nigel! The Siebel was his favourite for travelling.
    Do you know this location? It is at an place wher the germans tried something to do in ww2.

    Could it be in Lithuania? very similar style to Trakai Island although not the same. I'm guessing a V-weapons factory/test site?

    Ah found it - Oreshek fortress (Shlisselburg), Orekhovets Island, Lake Ladoga. Attempted capture by the Germans but unsuccessful, it resisted for 500 days before being finally relieved in '43 although the Germans captured the town itself on shore.

    (It also appears Lenin's Brother was hanged there in 1887, among others)

    Looks like a foldable para version of the japanese Type 100

    Not Japanese - little clue - this particular model was unlikely to still be around during ww2, although later versions were :)

    so the only ones i know with such an mag are the Australian and if i´m right an Italian one Ohh maybe a Bergmann?
