Hi, I'm new here. I'm sorry, but the rules seem kind of strict on this forum. I made a post about whether Israel would exist today if no Holocaust. I placed it in WW2Today, since Israel was founded in 1948, so the politics of this issue seem appropriate for the post-war history. My topic was then moved to "What If" and closed. I don't really understand why.

    Thanks,

    Mihai

Because it was a What If thread and new What If threads created after Dec 31, 2007 must meet certain requirements. I left you link to these requirements in my reply to you.

If you create a What If that meets the standards, it will be left up. If not, it will be closed.

I understand that, but I did not place it in "What if" section, it was not meant to be an "What if" topic. But I realize I might have phrased it in that way. I meant to open a topic on the events after the end to the war up to the establishment of the state of Israel.

Thanks, I will be more careful on how to phrase my topics from now on.
