I have a strange ww2 ring with a crest I have never seen before its a target with 2 crossed arrows over it. All I know is it comes from a seargant serving in Africa During the second world war. After hours of searching the web the only thing I can guess at is that the symbols are African with the target meaning "leader" and the arrows meaning "war" this is belivable as the ring was a seargants but I am not convinced and wonderd if anyone had heard of the insignia before? Please help
I must echo Skipper's reply. Sadly we would need somebody who has seen one of these before and knowledgable who could work without an image. Possibly try a copy/fax retailer who might be able to scan an image and post? Best of luck!
The US Army uses the two crossed arrows a lot in their badges. Something as basic as that....not seen. Perhaps custom order? Is there a shield or anything else? Just the target and two arrows?
Actually now you mention it, the symbol is mounted on a shield incorporated into the rings shape. I'll try my best to upload a picture, Kind regards
Well I'm a total forum noobie do I can't find your email :s Perhaps you could private message me your email? After looking at the ring again today I'm going to confuse you all again, the target on the ring is made of 3 circles but they arnt full circles, they could be horseshoes, or moons. But a pictures says a 1000 words so your really going to have to look your selfs.
