    My father has put together a short video to express who is in search of - his birth father.

    Sorry I cant be of much more assistance but I was unable to find anything you havn't. I Would try sending in a request for the military records of the above mentioned serviceman. You can download a copy of the form here:
    How to Request Military Service Records or Prove Military Service (DD Form 214, DD-214, DD214
    Explain in the comments section why you are sending the request. You may not get all his information but if they can tell you where this person was stationed your stepping in the right direction

    Why not give us a link to the video and some details of your grandfather, (name, location, service etc). This way it will show up in future searches and provide a better chance for success.
