    At the age of 68.

Back in the 80s/90s, I really liked Powers Boothe...especially in Southern Comfort and also as a quite credible Philip Marlowe on TV.

Excellent actor. Always loved his version of Curly Bill in Tombstone. RIP.

He always drew attention on screen. Often memorable even in otherwise lackluster projects.

I enjoyed him in Red Dawn, as the pilot who teaches the kids about how to fight. "I need a drink!"

Yeah that was a great flick, the first one I remember seeing him in. He did a great job in "Extreme Prejudice". He always steals every scene he's in. Sad to see him go.

As Cy Tolliver in Deadwood, he had to work very hard to be more evil than Al Swearingen (Ian McShane), but he managed it.
