how do you guys paint the underside of any tank, halftrack or truck?
How? You mean in what color, or when, or using what materials and paint?
In terms of colour -
tanks/trucks that are all one colour (like the Allied Olive Green) are obvious.
vehicles with various tones of camoflage - generally use the lightest colur - this tends to be sandy yellow, or similar.
I do the bottom of a tank hull in the base color that would be applied at the factory. I don't believe any tanks had camo applied to the underside. Could be wrong.
i guess that the base color for germany's afv is the red primer
yeah I usually just do the base camouflage colour ( you know I do germans, so I make the bottom sandy yellow or panzergelb)
that would do the job, I guess.
