Hello all ! here is a nice site covering radars to some depth from Germany, as well as Britain, etc. Martin Hollmann is the son of one of the first originators of German radar...... http://www.radarworld.org E.
Nother nice site. Also, I am currently trying to obtain some photos from a Searchlight Battery-wish me luck.
Glück ab Carl ! sounds like fun! If you go back to Martin's site and look through the links you will find a German site done called funkbase. This is by a former Telefunken employee during the war by the name of Peter Aichner. he has an incredible seite/database to work from. Has written two enormous volumes on radar development both ground and airborne during the war. He speaks and writes English which is a bit handy for most of us. To increase his already large archiv he was able to obtain the files/library of one of the most well known German radar experts, Fritz Trenkle, whom had written nearly 25 books covering German radars.........
