    I think Julz suggested something like this in another part of the forum, and I can't find a similarly-named thread, so if this is in the wrong place Mods please move it.
    I got hold of that book I mentioned- The History of British Army Signals in the Second World War by Major-General RFH Nalder, CB, OBE, published by the Royal Signals Institution in 1953.
    I've only managed to compile the attached list of equipment used by the British, I'll come back with more info on the background and operating procedures when I get left in peace long enough. :rolleyes:
