Raf Auster recovered in Dutch barn

    The first RAF Auster to land in Amsterdam on May 5th 1945 has been found intact in a Dutch farm where it had been abandoned for 72 years.

    The video in Dutch shows it arriving near Amsterdam, on a barge, after it's restoration in Zealand and at 0.46 one sees it on a 1945 film .

    It will be assembled and displaye don the Museum Square in Amsterdam!

    You're welcome. Your Dutch friends have proably seen it on their local news. It was a big thing there, not to mention my link is from a Dutch media.
