I just found this on another site and thought some here might find it interesting too . YouTube - Richard Hammond presents Bloody Omaha (The Graphics)
That was great nice to see how they did it, thanks, I watched the show last month, not bad. I've "re-enacted" Juno with my 3 kids.
Very impressive, it just shows what can be done with just 3 people, a few uniforms, weapons and a little CGI...and the backing of the BBC...
Now just waiting for the Kursk offensive filmed with two T-34´s and one Tiger/Panther/Ferdinand and a handful of soldiers from both sides...
Great work! Hat's off to the vision the producers must have had to imagine all of that before shooting.
I does make you wonder why reenactors would be necesarry in the making of a big moviepicture. If you can do this with 3 men. I watched the show too, next to the fact I sometimes needed translation, I really enjoyed it.
