That is absolutely amazing! They really do like they were packed last week! Great finds all, but this photo to me is the best! 63 years in the dirt and it comes out looking like new! Really cool stuff! Thanks for sharing guys!

I'll add some items i found in the Eifel region during 2008 in this thread.
It concerns a few trips with VGD and a few trips on my own.
With 272VGD i went back to the spot where we found the MG-ammobox in hope we could find some items we mist the first time.
These are the items we found:

A few days back i went on a short trip to the Eifel region and after finding a lot of casings / shrapnel and buttons i found this M1 Garand bayonet scabbard in great condition.
    Also some region pictures!

It's been a while since i showed some new findings but here they are.
You already see some findings my friend 272VGD did in his topic and now i'll share mine.

The weather was quite misty as you can see in this picture:

A mortar round was found and dug deep in the soil again!

Some .50 ammo almost on the surface, also dug deep in again!

    Some various items:

A british spoon found near the spot where 272VGD found one of his messtins.
It has the broad arrow marking!

An US messtin with the 4 last registration numbers of the soldier to whom this belonged.

And some US tools witch i will clean when the weather gets better!-)

    And a German tent item:

    Thanks, Ed.

That first pic certainly shows difficulties of living outside in that part of the world.
