    Hi, Grüber is back!

As promissed "a few" months ago I will now post my relics found in the Falaise pocket.
Maybe you can help me to identify some stuff. I will give each photo a number so you can more easily respond.

More Falaise Then & Now photo's in the thread: http://www.ww2f.com/wwii-today/24396-visited-falaise-pocket.html

Great finds, Edward ! I think - but am not positive - that the items in photo 1 are the remains of small electrical batteries ( you can clearly see the carbon rods ).

Edward, welcome back...great to see you here again!

I have also found lots of those things that are in photo No1. I thought they may be batteries of some sort as the core is made of carbon?

Is the item (on the left) in photo No4 the burner from a field kitchen cooker?

I especially like the fork/spoon combination, the handle from a mess tin amd the Y strap hook, as these were all personal items carried by individual soldiers.

Can you post some close up photos of what you think is a rifle grenade?

Ahhh! That's because you don't have a MkIII eyeball, Andy.

I'm still looking out for one on Ebay.

    Hi guys,

Happy to see you are all still here!

I will make a photo of the panzergranate for our Jagdpanter44.

I will also post a few photo's of the MkIII eyeball, wich is stamped with the broad arrow, but can never be sold..........

The german fork\spoon combination was a great find, but......
with the cleaning the fork broke loose from the rest. ****!
