Has any thought been given to marking a members post as a retired or no longer active member as has been done with those discharged? It may help new members from replying to a post of someone who is no longer with us especially as they may be unfamiliar with the ebb and flow of the forum.

I'm not sure if it can be done without a lot of daily involvement by the staff. Titles are based on numbers of posts, not regularity of them.

Not a bad idea but not one that would easily implemented

Not to mention that they may return in time.

We could just announce that a member has "done an urqh". That would give him leave to return when the fancy strikes, and let others know he's off for now.

By the way, nice to see you around again, urqh.
