Saracen APCs, Falkirk

    I first posted these a few years ago in a thread where Martin found a Bedford QL in France.
    They were in a scrapyard near Falkirk, Stirlingshire, but weren't for sale.
    I was back up there again today, but they're still not for sale. What a waste...

    The first time I see these my thoughts are along these lines.........They certainly look like they had greater protection than the light duty desert convertibles our troops sandbagged away at, that we supplied our troops with, at the beginning of Iraq and Afghanistan.

    I personally think it's a bloody waste if you ask me, It looks as though it wouldn't be too difficult to restore either!

    Darren,
    One now has an engine in it, and both have been moved. They're now side by side at the yard gate. Couldn't get the engine pics to upload though.:(

    Too bad if at least one of these doesn't get restored. I am glad to have the pictures to look at.
