    wow, fantastic

Can I ask one question though.

What is the checkered pattern on the tank armour? I would have thought it was too thin to be zimmerit? But it can't have been cast/rolled on in manfacutor?

would it have spread thicker during the war?

It doesn't seem thick enough to stop magnetic mines feeling the heavy steel underneath and didn't it add a load of weight to the tank?

looks like the frenchies took a lot of time to do that zimmerit, looks like a basket
that is not an actual zimmerit finish
