Does anyone knows what was the fate of the many Saving Private Ryanb props used in the movie?? Eg : Uniforms, Field Gear, Fake weapons?? Even vehicles?? Both US and German.... I saw quite a number of them for auction on Ebay. Thanks in advance * Alvin *
Many of SPR props are for sell at different times on ebay. I see many 2nd ranger Btn helmets and patches for sale, and every so often you will see a tunic, or boots-etc.
Try www.propguns.com My MP-40 was used as a prop for that movie and was purchased on that site. However, when I recieved it, the MP-40 was verified as a real weapon. It just had a dummy reciever. As far as I know, some went thru a place in New Jersey that specializes in this kind of thing. If you're looking for more, call the number at the site and ask for Bryson Kottle.
