A total of 928 of the 6 x 4 SdKfz 231 had been built before production ceased in 1936 in favour of 8 x 8 versions. The new armoured car retained the same SdKfz number but was bigger and more powerful. The rear four wheels were normally locked in the straight position and the drive was off the front four. However this could be reversed and the vehicle driven backwards as easily as it was forwards. Among the variants were the SdKfz232 Funkwagen, a radio vehicle, and the SdKfz233 that mounted a 7.5cm StuKL/24 gun in an open topped fighting compartment.

I liked its model. I think this model can help tank to run fast. And its eight wheels also responsible for fast speed and ability to run over the rough surface perfectly.

I think this vehicle is very suitable for mountain areas, as it has 8 wheel which helps it to maintain its balance in the hilly areas too.
