Yes, it's really well made. I would very much like to see some shots of it during the making if you have some, something that shows how you made the conversion. I always find it interesting to see where the original model ends and the conversion begins, as well as materials and such.
I've been wanting to do that vehicle in 1/35 for years.I think it's out of production now however.Nice job.
out of production? never been!!! i knew of this vehicle many years ago, a conversion of a monogram sdfkz 232, in scale 1/32, and scratch build!!!!
It's still around. And Tamiya re-release it from time to time, so if you can't find it right now you'll probably find it later.
If you really want one you should try this site. It's out of stock now, but I almost always get what I order there. You might have to wait a month or two though.
mmm, all ya are talking about the 232, i'm talking about the 263 and indeed is based on the tamiya 232
i got me 2 of them, one i converted to the 263 and the other is waiting in line!!!!!! got them in ebay, and really cheap!!!!!!( some years ago)
Happy New Year to you too. And I hope you get a kit with no parts missing. I stopped trading at eBay when I realised that one out of every three kits I bought missed parts or were otherwise ruined. I also discovered that most of what you buy on eBay can be bought from webstores as well, usually for less money and with a lot more confidence.
mm, i got me in ebay a dragon morser loki 1/35, for only 31 bucks, reg.49.99, and brand new and sealed, you can not beat that!!!!!
Sure, but you can beat one out of every three kits with missing parts and other flaws. A couple of the kits I purchased on eBay were even started. SturmTiger, how much did you have to pay for your SdKfz 232 by the way?
